Windows will warn you on first launch

The installer is not yet signed with a commercial certificate, so SmartScreen shows a blue window saying "Windows protected your PC". It is a warning, not an error: the file is the one you downloaded here, and you can verify it with the hash below. To continue:

1. In the blue window click More info.
2. A Run anyway button appears: click it.
3. Follow the setup. When it finishes, the Monitile icon sits in the notification area, next to the clock.

Verify the file (optional)

If you want to be sure the file is intact and is the one we published, compare its SHA-256 fingerprint with this one:

To compute it, open Command Prompt in your Downloads folder and paste:

certutil -hashfile MonitileSetup.exe SHA256

The two strings must match character for character. If they differ, do not run the file and write to us.

1. Open the Editor by double-clicking the icon and capture your first session.
